Our dedicated, small-scale, personal yet highly specialized team ensures a personal and hands-on approach to your assurance needs. Attestic consists of a small team, including two full time and three flexible auditors. Attestic was founded by Patrick Paling and Maarten de Boer.

Patrick Paling is dedicated to Identity Services, Trust Services and PKI environment for over 20 years.

Maarten de Boer has extensive PKI and Trust Service experience for over 17 years. He has audited a wide variety of PKI environmens, including Web-PKI, Personal certificates based on smartcards and remote QSCDs, organisation-bound certificates and profession-bound certificates.  Maarten also has performed multiple audits for Smart Tachographs Member State Authorities at Card Issuing Authorities, Card Distributors and Card Personaliser organisations.

Committee for independence and impartiality

At Attestic, we are committed to conducting IT audits with the highest standards of impartiality, independence, and integrity. To uphold these principles, we have established a Commission for Impartiality and Independence, ensuring that our audit processes remain free from conflicts of interest and external influence.

This commission consists of independent experts with extensive knowledge of the requirements outlined in ISO 17065, the international standard for certification bodies. Their role is to oversee and safeguard the neutrality of our assessment and certification processes, ensuring that all decisions are made based on objective criteria and in full compliance with applicable regulations.

By maintaining a strict separation between auditing, consulting, and decision-making, we provide our clients with the trust and confidence they need in our IT assurance services.
